Welcome to Hampton Township by the Bay

CISMA

Cooperative Invasive Species Management Areas (CISMAs) are partnerships of federal, state, and local government agencies, tribes, individuals, and various interested groups that manage invasive species (or weeds) in a defined area.

Hampton Township is a active partner with Bay County, Saginaw Bay CISMA and Arenac Conservation District working to control and treat the invasive species, in particular, the phragmites and educate the public about invasive species.

Some events to look forward to are the AIS Landing Blitzes held at the Hampton Township Finn Road Park Campground Boat Launch.
