COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION AND CLOSING

 Due to the extension of the governor’s Stay Home, Stay Safe Executive Order, the Township Office will remain closed to the public until 9:00 am on Monday, June 15th.  Office staff returned to work on Friday, May 1st, and are answering the phones, Monday-Friday from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

*****Water Payments*****

 Please put your check (no cash please) along with the top part of your bill, in the drop box located to the left entrance or, pay online at www.hamptontownship.org and select “Pay Your Bills Here” on the HOME Page. 

*****The Transfer Station will remain open*****

 To obtain a Transfer Station Permit ($100), Large Item Permit ($15), or an Annual Boat Launch Pass ($50), please put your personal check (no cash please) with a note on what you are purchasing in our drop box located to the left of our entrance door and a permit will be issued and mailed to you.

*****Building Permits*****

 To obtain a Building/Electrical/Plumbing Permit, please go to our website at www.hamptontownship.org complete the necessary application.  You can drop the application, check (no cash please) and any required drawings in our drop box located to the left of our entrance door and a permit will be issued and mailed to you.  Please include your phone number in case there are any questions or additional information needed.

 We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but feel it is necessary to take every possible precaution to protect our residents, guests and employees.

If you have an emergency, you can email me directly at hamptonsupervisor@hamptonmi.net or call Terri Close, Township Supervisor, at 989-326-6566.  You can also call our office and leave a message with your name, phone number and the reason your calling, and someone will return your call or visit our website www.hamptontownship.org and selecting the "CONTACT US" menu.

After careful consideration and in response to reports regarding the increasing number of cases of COVID-19, Hampton Township has decided to close the Administration Office to the public effective March 17, 2020, until further notice.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but feel it is necessary to take every possible precaution to protect our residents, guests and employees.

Please call our office Monday-Friday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm to make credit card payments or for information on how to obtain building permits, transfer station permits, etc.  For payments of checks only, no cash please, use the drop box located to the west of the entrance or pay online at hamptontownship.org and select “Pay Your Bills Here” on the HOME Page.
